Best way to travel from Paris to Saint Malo?
This is the first time i am travelling to France.I am plannin to take TGV coz i think its cost effective. But,I have never travelled in TGV.My flight lands at Paris CDG airport.I have heard that it is a complex airport.Would I be able to catch a TGV if i have no advance bookin?
From Paris CDG, you have first to take the Air France bus to Montparnasse railway station for TGV. It is possible to buy the TGV ticket in the station, it is better to know the time- table before. Have a look to : http://www.voyages-sncf.com/billet-train/horaires/resultats?hid=HL9 http://www.cdgfacile.com/pages/cars_air_france_cdgpag.html I hope this will help you, have a nice stay in France.

Are solo getaways helpful? I feel like traveling somewhere within Northern CA, bookin a hotel & just thinking?
I heard this helps kind of put you on track, gather your thoughts, reconsider your goals, mission in life etc. Have any of you had good experiences with this? Also, for Norcal residents, I live in berkeley- can you recommend a city that would be good for this..not extremely far, not expensive, and not too noisy?
Thanks bunches!
Very much so, St Helena and Calistoga and generally tripping around the Napa valley makes for a nice getaway if you don't want to drive too far from home. In Calistoga some of the places have the hot mineral spring water plumbed so you can fill your in room spa/tub and enjoy it in total privacy. If you want to enjoy the scenic route and less traffic take the Silverado Trail up the east side of the valley once you get to the city of Napa. You will bypass the small towns and all the roadside touristy stops but there are roads to cut across the valley at every town if you want to do so. Vintage 1870 in Yountville is a fun place to trip around for shops and eats, if you go there cross the street on the north end of the 1870 strip to Beard Plaza, enjoy the amazing and inspiring work of some exceptional artists. Further out are places like way up 101 into the redwoods along the eel river, garberville area comes to mind

Should i go this far to see my love?
there's this guy i love very much, more than i can every love any1. he hurt me badly in the past, and we broke up which makes a whole yr since we broke up. we known each other for 5yrs and always loved each other but were always far from 1 another. he moved around and i stayed in place, it was always hard for us but we stuck together until thing were falling apart and he found some1 else, and i was so hurt i can't say in words. so then after some time he came back to me, well to talk and all.. and by then i was feelin a little better but still had love for him. and now he lives a bit closer than before, but still far... and cuz i moved to this other state im even farther... but much closer than when he was in another country on the other side of the world. but i know he still loves me, one night he called sayin how he wants to marry me and what not.. because he went through a lot and he truly felt i was right for him but he was drunk when he said this. he was going to his mom's place and said for me to come stay with him and his family for some time on winter break... and i told him that i'll think about it. because then finally i'll get to see him, but i have very strict parents who don't ever let me go out or do anything fun... i have a curfew of 8 and that's only for work... there's prob no way they'll let me go and to see him... they wouldn't at all. but i just wish i could see him cuz it's been so many yrs. so i was thinking to just go without telling no1 by bookin the ticket and to go see him, but he said there were no guarantees if we will have a future together... however he is trying to come to this place which is 2hrs away from where i live in the summer, and he wanted me to come to see him and his family in the winter and then also i was like i'll see him in the summer, but for some reason im afraid we wont be together, and i just go to see him and have a great time and can't settle on being together cuz he travels a lot. i am willing to do a lot to be with him, but if he might hurt me... he says things can change if he saw me, and we could settle on something but nothing is guranteed.. so idk if i should go to see him or not... it's stressin me.. plus if i do go and come back to my house my folks be very angry, and will take everything away from me, cell, my job, and college. i got indian parents... btw im 20.
but i was thinking to go in the summer cuz it would be better i'll have a car by then etc.. id work on convincing my folks.. but jan is around the corner.. it's a lot of pressure.. so i go to see the love of my life when there is a 50 50 chance we will have a future together?
thanks
